Otonan / Balinese Birthday Ceremony
Otonan is a ceremony (ceremonial birthday) carried out in Bali, Indonesia. Six months after a baby is born, the ceremony is carried out according to the Wuku calendar of Bali,[1] The purpose of this ceremony is to make up for the errors and evils of prior life to achieve a more perfect life. Otonan continuously every 6 months of Balinese’s calendar.
Melukat
Melukat is a spiritual cleansing ceremony of the mind and soul in man. This ceremony is carried out for generations by Hindus to this day. Spiritual purification means eliminating the dirty influence in the self.
